Bind Master Pro Guitar Binding Router Jig

The Bind Master Pro is a precision, non-powered mechanical guitar-binding jig designed for luthiers, guitar builders, repair professionals, and serious hobbyists.

Its floating carriage moves smoothly on supported linear rails, allowing a customer-supplied trim router to follow flat, carved, archtop, and custom instrument contours while helping keep the cutting position stable, square, and controlled.

This makes it easier to produce clean, consistent binding and purfling channels with less tilting, fatigue, and guesswork.

Important Product Classification

The Bind Master Pro is a mechanical woodworking jig and router-mounting fixture. It does not contain a motor, battery, charger, electrical wiring, or power supply.

No powered router or electrical power tool is included with this product. Any trim router shown in photographs or videos is for demonstration purposes only and must be supplied separately by the customer.

Router Mount Compatibility

Mechanical mounting-base options are available for select compact trim-router models from:

  • DeWalt
  • Makita
  • Milwaukee
  • Ryobi
  • RIDGID
  • Bosch

Please confirm your exact router model before ordering. Router manufacturers may change housing dimensions, base designs, and mounting-hole patterns between models.

Custom mechanical mounts may also be available. Before ordering a custom mount, contact Bind Master Pro with the router brand, exact model number, clear photographs, and mounting-hole measurements.

The router itself is not sold or included as part of the Bind Master Pro kit.

How It Works

The Bind Master Pro supports the customer’s compatible router on a floating mechanical carriage.

As the carriage moves vertically along the supported rails, the cutting tool can follow changes in the height and contour of the instrument body. This helps keep the binding ledge more consistent around flat, carved, and arched surfaces.

The instrument is supported by adjustable cradle brackets while the jig is securely mounted to a stable workbench or table.

Processing Time

Most in-stock configurations are processed and shipped promptly.

Custom-built, made-to-order, or specially configured components may require up to five business days for manufacturing, inspection, and packaging.

Safety

The Bind Master Pro is a mechanical support fixture and does not provide electrical power or operate independently.

When using the jig with a customer-supplied router:

  • Follow all instructions provided by the router manufacturer
  • Wear appropriate eye, hearing, and respiratory protection
  • Secure the instrument and work surface before cutting
  • Disconnect the router from its power source before making adjustments
  • Confirm that all fasteners and supports are secure
  • Test the setup on scrap material before routing an instrument
  • Keep hands, clothing, and loose objects away from the cutting area

The user is responsible for properly installing, operating, and maintaining any separately supplied cutting equipment.
